II. Global Norms for National Bodies
This section of the bibliography is devoted to what can be termed the "horizontal dimension" of global administrative law: the production of norms at the global level which are to be applied by domestic administrative authorities. These norms can be produced in three different ways: firstly, as standard international law, usually in the form of treaties or other formal instruments; secondly, by international courts or tribunals in exercising a review function; and thirdly, as the result of administrative activity by global regulatory bodies themselves. This section, however, is structured according to different sectors, as follows:
