United Nations Administrative Tribunal (UNAT) Conference

On Friday 9 November 2007, a day-long conference, on "International Administrative Tribunals in a Changing World", was held at the United Nations in New York, hosted by the United Nations Administrative Tribunal in collaboration with NYU's Institute for International Law and Justice (amongst others). The conference was split into three different panels, each focusing on a different set of issues: the first dealt with the independence and powers of international administrative tribunals; the second, which featured many leading members and former members of UNAT, was concerned with issues of access to justice and due process; and the third focused on the accountability of the international civil service. We hope to make the full text of a number of the papers presented at the conference available on this page.
